The Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) is launching a Multi‑Institutional Call aimed at selecting and supporting collaborative projects that address strategic challenges and contribute to Brazil’s scientific, technological, and social development. This call focuses on initiatives originating from the North and Northeast regions of the country.
The initiative is designed to foster collaboration among institutions at different stages of development, encouraging the exchange of scientific and technical expertise and broadening opportunities for local research groups. Proposals must clearly demonstrate their multi‑institutional nature, scientific excellence, and potential for both regional and national impact, in line with the criteria set out in the Call for Proposals.
Within the context of CNPEM, it is important to highlight the nature of this Call.
The Multi‑Institutional Call is not a traditional funding call. Instead, it aims to expand and qualify the use of CNPEM’s open user facilities through the development of proposals carried out under the User Program. This program enables research teams to access the Center’s scientific infrastructure, in accordance with current regulations and budget availability, without direct financial transfers to the selected projects.
Submitting this form constitutes the official application to the Multi‑Institutional Call. Before completing the submission, applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully review the Call for Proposals, which details the scope of the call, eligibility requirements, required documentation, deadlines, and participation conditions.
By submitting a proposal, the applicant confirms that they have read and agreed to all the rules established in the Call for Proposals, and that all information provided is accurate.
A preview of the submission form is provided below, with the questions displayed exactly as they appear in the system. Please note that proposals must be submitted exclusively through the official submission platform. If you have additional questions, please refer to the FAQ below.
