User Support

Through the User´s Office, the CNPEM offers lodging, a dining hall, and other facilities for users involved in regular activities at the campus. The rules for aid can be found here.

The CNPEM has a guesthouse exclusively for users who are conducting research on campus.

Availability: Spaces in the guesthouse are available according to the priorities defined below:

1. Users who have received financial aid.
2. Users with proposals for research to be conducted, with the research period extending into the night shift.
3. Users who have requested reservations on the SAU Online portal.

The guesthouse is located on the CNPEM campus and has 23 double suites with hot water, air conditioning, and a desk with an internet connection. There is a common area with a kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator (food only), laundry space, and TV room. There is no parking fee. The guesthouse also provides bedding (including sheets and blankets) and towels, as well as a cleaning service.

Rates: The per-day rate is BRL 55.00 per person in a double room. No meals are included. The total amount for the entire stay must be paid by the guest at check-in, directly to the SAU; note that staff are available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The fee may be paid in cash (BRL), debit or credit card, or bank transfer.

Reservations: To make a reservation, access the SAU Online portal. Participants in events held on campus cannot request lodging in the CNPEM guesthouse.

Rules:

• Food: No eating or storing food in the rooms;
• Equipment: Clothes irons, stoves/cookers, and heaters are not permitted in the rooms;
• Noise: Guests must be quiet at all times in the guesthouse;
• Reporting problems: Any problems or issues in the facilities should be reported to the SAU, in person or via email at sau@cnpem.br.

There is a dining hall and a snack bar at the CNPEM for staff and visitors to the campus.

Hours:

• Breakfast: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM;
• Lunch: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

For users receiving financial aid, the lunch fee will be credited directly via their ID tag. Financial aid does not cover other meals, which should be paid for directly at the dining hall.

The library is located within the Administration building. The collection contains books, manuals, electronic media, norms, periodicals, annals, and dissertations.
