Scheduling will be available from June 10 to 12 through CNPEM’s dedicated platform
The Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) will open, on June 10, a new round of bookings for its long-standing Visiting Program. Reservations can be made between June 10 and 12 through CNPEM’s dedicated online platform.
For more than 20 years, CNPEM’s Visit Program has welcomed weekly groups of middle school, technical and higher education students. The program aims to present the Center’s research infrastructure and cutting-edge scientific and technological activities, promote recognition of science produced in Brazil, and inspire young people to pursue careers in science and technology.
This second call for 2026 will provide available dates for visits scheduled between July and December.
New Online Booking Platform
In 2026, CNPEM introduced a new online system for managing visit requests, accessible at https://visitas.cnpem.br. The platform allows applicants to schedule visits, track ongoing requests, and submit all required documentation in a single environment.
Users can also update their visitor lists at any time up to seven days before the scheduled visit. To access these features, prior registration on the platform is required.
The platform also provides comprehensive information about the Visiting Program, including booking schedules, a user guide, visit guidelines, and practical tips for the day of the visit. A Visitor’s Guide is available at https://visitas.cnpem.br/manual-do-visitante/.
Due to limited availability, early registration is strongly recommended. Booking starts at 10 am of June 10th. All visit requests are subject to confirmation after submission.
