The User’s Office (EdU) is responsible for connecting the external scientific community with CNPEM’s open-access facilities.
It provides comprehensive support to researchers throughout the entire user journey, from proposal submission in the SAU Online system to project completion. This support includes financial guidance, sample shipment, remote data access, accommodation, and credentialing. The User’s Office also develops strategic science communication initiatives, promoting the User Program at events and on social media, and interacts with evaluation committees to ensure qualified and transparent access to the facilities.
To expand the program’s reach, the EdU coordinates the Ambassadors Program, which aims to increase the participation of researchers from regions that are still underrepresented. Through these initiatives, the EdU contributes to the efficient use of CNPEM’s infrastructure and to strengthening Brazilian science on the global stage.
