Enzyme to produce hydrocarbons

Produces alkenes from fatty acids. Chimeric enzyme to produce terminal alkenes that can generate hydrogen peroxide in situ from glycerol (a waste product from bioethanol production), stimulating more sustainable industrial production of biofuels.
