Registrations are now open for the LNLS 26th Annual Users’ Meeting (RAU), which will take place from August 24th to 25th, 2016, in Campinas, SP – Brazil.
Registrations are open until April 25th for those who may wish financial support. For all other applicants, the deadline for registration is June 3rd.
RAU has the objective of encouraging debates, the exchange of experiences and the integration of the LNLS users community. It is an important forum for discussion, evaluation and presentation of proposals for the improvement of the research structures and of the scientific instrumentation available at the synchrotron light source. The meeting represents also an opportunity for the exchange of information about the research carried out at the facilities.
With the ground break of Sirius, the new Brazilian synchrotron light source, the participation of the scientific community becomes essential in order to describe their needs in present and what are their expectations on the new machine. The RAU is the ideal place to foster this debate.
