The Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory has just received some of the first components for the Sirius accelerators. In the last week the partner company WEG, one of the Sirius suppliers, delivered 62 corrector magnets for LNLS.
Most of these magnets will be used on the Sirius booster accelerator to help correcting the electrons trajectory. Furthermore, five of them will be used on the transport line which makes the link between the linear accelerator (Linac) and the Booster. Now these magnets are undergoing electrical, magnetic and dimensional testings.
