III Fundamentos em Microscopia Eletrônica de Transmissão com Aplicações em Soft Materials e 4D-STEM

The Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) will hold the third edition of the Fundamentals in Transmission Electron Microscopy with Applications in Soft Materials and 4D-STEM course from June 30 to July 4, 2025. Aimed at graduate students and researchers in hard and soft materials (especially polymers), the event will cover the fundamentals of Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) across six main topics: Introduction to Electron Microscopy; Electron Diffraction; Spectroscopy: EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) and EELS (Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy); Imaging; Corrected Microscopy; Advanced Topics.
This edition will also feature a satellite event, the Soft Materials Electron Microscopy Workshop, on July 7, 2025, taught by renowned Prof. Dr. Yeshayahu (Ishi) Talmon.
A total of 90 spots are available, and registrations will be open from April 22 to May 12, 2025.
