The registrations are open for the 4th School on X-Ray Spectroscopy Methods, which will be held at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, between September 14th and 15th. The event will happen just before the LNLS Annual User’s Meeting (RAU), as a satellite event. This school will focus on the fundamentals of x-ray spectroscopy methods and data analysis and its applications. Registrations are open from July 17th to August 17th.
The first day will include introductory lectures about the theoretical and experimental aspects of hard x-ray spectroscopy, followed by one day of advanced lectures and tutorials on data analysis and examples of applications in different fields. All lectures and hands-on activities will be held at the LNLS Auditorium, room 201, second floor of the LNLS’s building.The presentations will be in English and Portuguese languages and number of attendees will be limited to 20 participants.
