SUMMARY:VII Biorenewables Series
DESCRIPTION:The seventh edition of the Biorenewable Series\, formerly known as the Industrial Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology (IBSB) series\, will address the theme “Redox biocatalysis fostering the transition towards a sustainable bioeconomy”. Organized by the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM)\, the event will bring together the scientific community to explore the latest advancements in the use of oxidoreductases as powerful biocatalysts for several applications. Redox biocatalysis has emerged as a key strategy for enabling cleaner industrial processes\, including the breakdown of recalcitrant biomass\, the synthesis of advanced molecules\, and the production of bio-based alternatives to petrochemicals.
