DESCRIPTION:Promovido pelo Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncrotron (LNLS)\, do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM)\, a 4º edição do AgroEnviro Workshop será realizado de 23 a 24 de setembro de 2024\, no Sirius – CNPEM\, em Campinas – SP.  \nO workshop reunirá cientistas experientes e em início de carreira com interesse e expertise em tópicos críticos nas ciências agroambientais. O objetivo da 4ª edição do AgroEnviro é identificar questões não respondidas sobre os principais problemas agroambientais relacionados à segurança alimentar e às mudanças climáticas\, que podem ser exploradas utilizando síncrotrons avançados de 4ª geração\, como o Sirius. O evento visa motivar cientistas de várias regiões do Brasil a utilizarem as instalações abertas para enfrentar desafios científicos fundamentais na agricultura e no meio ambiente.  \nO período de inscrição e submissão de resumos vai até 18 de agosto de 2024. \n— \nPromoted by the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM)\, the 4th AgroEnviro Workshop – Connecting Synchrotron Research to Higher-Scale Problem Solving in agricultural and environmental systems – will be held from September 23 to 24\, 2024\, at Sirius – CNPEM\, in Campinas\, SP\, Brazil.  \nThe workshop will bring together experienced and early-career scientists with interest and expertise in critical topics in agro-environmental sciences. The objective of the 4th AgroEnviro edition is to identify unanswered questions about major agro-environmental issues related to food security and climate change that can be explored using highly advanced 4th generation synchrotrons\, such as Sirius. The event aims to motivate scientists from various regions of Brazil to use open facilities to address fundamental scientific challenges in agriculture and the environment.  \n The registration and abstract submission period runs until August 18\, 2024.
