Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Luz S\u00edncrotron (LNLS), parte do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM), realizar\u00e1 a 1\u00aa edi\u00e7\u00e3o do <\/span><\/span>Workshop MANAC\u00c1 – Fundamentos e Pr\u00e1ticas de Cristalografia de Macromol\u00e9culas Utilizando Luz S\u00edncrotron: Da Cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de Prote\u00ednas \u00e0 Determina\u00e7\u00e3o Estrutural<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, de 4 a 7 de agosto de 2025. Este workshop de quatro dias tem como objetivo proporcionar treinamento <\/span><\/span>te\u00f3rico<\/span><\/span> e <\/span><\/span>pr\u00e1tico<\/span><\/span> nas bases e nas t\u00e9cnicas avan\u00e7adas de cristalografia de prote\u00ednas. Entre os principais temas abordados est\u00e3o a <\/span><\/span>cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00ednas<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>cristalografia macromolecular por raios X (MX)<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span>coleta e processamento de dados<\/span><\/span>, e <\/span><\/span>novas tend\u00eancias emergentes na biologia estrutural<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Os participantes ter\u00e3o a oportunidade de obter experi\u00eancia pr\u00e1tica ao trabalhar com suas pr\u00f3prias amostras ou com amostras fornecidas pela linha de luz MANAC\u00c1, realizando coleta de dados e an\u00e1lise dos resultados.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The National Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), part of the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), will hold the 1st edition of the\u00a0MANAC\u00c1 Workshop \u2013 Fundamentals and Practices of Macromolecule Crystallography Using Synchrotron Light: From Protein Crystallization to Structural Determination<\/strong>, from August 4 to 7, 2025. This four-day workshop aims to provide\u00a0theoretical<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0practical<\/strong>\u00a0training in the foundations and advanced techniques of protein crystallography. Among the main topics covered are protein\u00a0crystallization, macromolecular X-ray crystallography (MX), data collection and processing, and new emerging trends in structural biology<\/strong>.
