{"id":956,"date":"2011-02-14T11:05:50","date_gmt":"2011-02-14T11:05:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cnpem.staging.wpengine.com\/?p=956"},"modified":"2026-03-03T10:14:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T13:14:20","slug":"novo-microscopio-eletronico-no-lme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cnpem.br\/en\/novo-microscopio-eletronico-no-lme\/","title":{"rendered":"Novo microsc\u00f3pio eletr\u00f4nico no LME"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Jornal da Ci\u00eancia, em 11\/02\/2011<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O Laborat\u00f3rio Microscopia Eletr\u00f4nica (LME), que integra o Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Luz S\u00edncrotron (LNLS), inicia na ter\u00e7a-feira (15) a opera\u00e7\u00e3o para usu\u00e1rios de um novo microsc\u00f3pio eletr\u00f4nico de transmiss\u00e3o JEOL JEM 2100F HRP (TEM-FEG), este microsc\u00f3pio foi adquirido com recursos da Fapesp (processo 02\/04151-9). O per\u00edodo de submiss\u00e3o de proposta, iniciado em 15 de janeiro, encerra em 30 de outubro deste ano<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O equipamento tem um canh\u00e3o de emiss\u00e3o por efeito de campo (FEG) e opera tanto em modo de transmiss\u00e3o &#8211;\u00a0 Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) -, quanto de transmiss\u00e3o com varredura &#8211;\u00a0 Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy, (STEM).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O novo microsc\u00f3pio ser\u00e1 dedicado a nanoan\u00e1lises por meio do uso da espectroscopia de perda de energia dos el\u00e9trons (EELS), espectroscopia de raios-X por dispers\u00e3o em energia (XEDS) e imagens por campo escuro anular em alto \u00e2ngulo (STEM &#8211; HAADF).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Segundo o pesquisador Luciano Montoro, do LME, as possibilidades de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do equipamento aumentam significativamente a atual capacidade anal\u00edtica. &#8220;Agora \u00e9 poss\u00edvel analisar estruturas menores, propriedades eletr\u00f4nicas de materiais e elementos leves como, por exemplo, o carbono e o oxig\u00eanio&#8221;, diz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nessas t\u00e9cnicas o feixe de el\u00e9trons \u00e9 emitido em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a uma amostra bem fina com a qual sofre diversos processos de intera\u00e7\u00e3o. Nesses processos \u00e9 poss\u00edvel obter informa\u00e7\u00f5es como propriedades morfol\u00f3gicas e estruturais, composi\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica, estados de oxida\u00e7\u00e3o ou hibridiza\u00e7\u00e3o, entre outras.
