Its mission is to develop and apply state-of-the-art mass spectrometry-based proteomics methods to address biological questions proposed by both internal and external users.<\/p>\n<h3>Schedule<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Proposal submission:<\/strong> August 1\u201331, 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project execution:<\/strong> January\u2013December 2027<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Travel assistance for researchers outside the state of S\u00e3o Paulo and from Latin America and the Caribbean<\/h3>\n<p>During this call for proposals, researchers affiliated with institutions outside the state of S\u00e3o Paulo and from countries in Latin America and the Caribbean may apply for <strong>travel assistance<\/strong>, provided that their proposals are approved and they meet the eligibility requirements of the assistance program.<\/p>\n<h3>Advanced equipment and scientific and technical support<\/h3>\n<p>The equipment available at MAS provides robust analytical capabilities for users, particularly in the field of <strong>single-cell proteomics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its experimental infrastructure, the facility\u2019s technical team supports users throughout all stages of their projects, including experimental design, sample preparation, liquid chromatography\u2013mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis, and data processing and interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>MAS comprises dedicated laboratories for <strong>sample preparation<\/strong>, <strong>instrumentation<\/strong>, and <strong>data analysis<\/strong>, and offers the following equipment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EASY-nLC II coupled with an LTQ Orbitrap Velos ETD ion trap (Thermo Scientific)<\/li>\n<li>Evosep Eno LC coupled with an Orbitrap Exploris 240 mass spectrometer (Thermo Scientific)<\/li>\n<li>Vanquish Neo UHPLC coupled with an Orbitrap Astral mass spectrometer (Thermo Scientific)<\/li>\n<li>Acquity UPLC-Class M coupled with a Xevo TQ-XS mass spectrometer<\/li>\n<li>CellenONE X1 single-cell isolator (Scienion)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The facility\u2019s main areas of expertise include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discovery proteomics and peptidomics<\/li>\n<li>Targeted proteomics and peptidomics<\/li>\n<li>Spatial proteomics<\/li>\n<li>Proteomic analysis of post-translational modifications<\/li>\n<li>Structural proteomics<\/li>\n<li>Single-cell proteomics<\/li>\n<li>Computational proteomics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>External Scientific Committee Will Rigorously Evaluate Proposals<\/h3>\n<p>All submitted proposals will be reviewed anonymously by an <strong>External Scientific Committee<\/strong>, which evaluates applications based on their scientific and technical merit.
