Approved proposals will be made public until February 27, 2026 and fulfilled between March and December 2026. Using the DEB installation is free of charge for academic users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proposal submission will be carried out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sauonline.cnpem.br\/duo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exclusively through the SAU online system<\/a>. Proposals will be selected by an internal committee, considering technical feasibility and scientific merit, in addition to compliance with current sample safety standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Bioprocess Development and Scale-up\u00a0(DEB) facility<\/strong>\u00a0operated by the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) has a broad structure covering everything from benchtop bioreactors, from 60 ml to 3.6 L, to pilot-scale bioreactors with volumes ranging from 20 L to 300 L. The DEB facility counts on reactors for chemical processes development in addition to bioproduct purification and separation systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This facility allows everything from laboratory-scale experiments, aimed at microorganisms characterizing and developing fermentative processes in general, to large-scale biomass conversions, producing, for example, renewable biofuels among other renewable origin bioproducts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The facility\u2019s team offers technical-scientific support in applying methods, improving processes, choosing experimental conditions, as well as equipment usage training and backing in carrying out the experiments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In case of any doubt, please contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:deb@lnbr.cnpem.br\">deb@lnbr.cnpem.br<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key dates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission start:<\/strong> November 10, 2025<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission deadline:<\/strong> December 19, 2025<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Selected proposals disclosure:<\/strong> Until February 27, 2026<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Execution phase:<\/strong> March to December\/2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify; margin-top:20px;\"><h2>About LNBR<\/h2><p>The Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR) works to address scientific challenges that are strategic for Brazil in order to promote energy transition and develop a sustainable bioeconomy. Its interdisciplinary competencies in bioprospecting, synthetic biology, biocatalysis, bioprocesses and sustainability are integrated into the development of technologies founded on renewable sources, domestic production chains and Brazilian biodiversity.
