The project is coordinated by the Synchrotron Light National Laboratory (LNLS), which is part of CNPEM and headed by researcher Nathaly Lopes Archilha.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 36-month fellowship is linked to a project entitled &#8220;Resolving barriers in 3D X-ray imaging with temporal resolution using a new data acquisition and processing paradigm,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/bv.fapesp.br\/pt\/auxilios\/116945\/resolvendo-barreiras-em-imagem-3d-por-raios-x-com-resolucao-temporal-com-um-novo-paradigma-de-aquisi\/?q=2024\/08590-6\">FAPESP process 2024\/08590-6<\/a>.\u00a0The project is a collaboration between CNPEM and Ghent University (Belgium).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Activities involved<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The selected post-doctoral fellow will work on optimizing acquisition and reconstruction methods for high-speed tomography. With the new direct X-ray detector on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lnls.cnpem.br\/facilities\/mogno\/\">MOGNO beamline<\/a>, data can be acquired at many frames per second, permitting localized and time-resolved analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fellow will design and carry out experiments adapted to ultrafast tomography, as well as search for, adapt and develop reconstruction algorithms from scientific literature for spatiotemporal (4D) data.
