Groups who obtain tickets will be received at CNPEM on Friday, May 30, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_59052\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-59052\" class=\"size-full wp-image-59052\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cnpem.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/card_ciencia_aberta_2025_1-1.jpg?resize=640%2C800&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cnpem.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/card_ciencia_aberta_2025_1-1.jpg?w=640&amp;ssl=1 640w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/cnpem.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/card_ciencia_aberta_2025_1-1.jpg?resize=400%2C500&amp;ssl=1 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-59052\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ci\u00eancia Aberta 2025 will take place on May 30 and 31; the 30th will be dedicated exclusively to student groups and excursions<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Customized links will be sent only to those individuals who correctly filled out the Expression of Interest form previously, and tickets will remain available until capacity is reached, <strong>with a total of 300 group slots offered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tickets will be provided by order of registration (first-come, first-served), and any groups that do not confirm participation will have their ticket given to another on the waiting list. After definitive registration, group coordinators will receive an email containing a QR code confirming the ticket and additional instructions required to participate in the event.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Record numbers<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An unprecedented number of initial registrations were received for the Ci\u00eancia Aberta event, when CNPEM opens its labs to visitors, for the day dedicated to groups from teaching institutions. Over 600 group leaders expressed interest, with an estimated 50,000 potential visitors. But experience in previous years indicates that 20,000 visitors can be received on the Friday dedicated to student groups, considering space, comfort, and capacity limits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Registrations came from 10 Brazilian states, with 30,000 potential visitors who have never visited CNPEM. Of the nearly 50,000 possible participants, only 13,000 come from Campinas, where the Center is located.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Visiting day for the general public<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There will also be a day when the event is open to the general public: Saturday, May 31, 2025. Registration is not required to visit on this day, but space is limited: if maximum capacity is reached, entry to the CNPEM campus will be restricted.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Infrastructure and parking<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNPEM will provide free parking on both days of the event, but space is limited. For more details, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/pages.cnpem.br\/cienciaaberta\/grupos\/\">group page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">About CNPEM<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CNPEM is home to a state-of-the-art, multi-user and multidisciplinary scientific environment, with activities within different fronts of the Brazilian National System for Science, Technology and Innovation. A social organization overseen by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), CNPEM is driven by research that impacts the areas of health, energy, renewable materials, and sustainability.
