These opportunities are linked to <strong>CNPq project 408016\/2024-8<\/strong>, and applications will be accepted up to <strong>December 31, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project will evaluate the Brazilian context for fuels that require intense use of electricity to produce (e-fuels), such as low-carbon electrolytic hydrogen and its derivatives, and will prioritize aviation fuels. The selected candidates will work on technical, economic and environmental modeling of e-fuel production processes, and will be allocated to the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR), which is part of CNPEM.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Requirements for CNPq fellowships<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candidates interested in applying for one of the six fellowships must meet the requirements of the research funding agency as well as CNPEM:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/memoria2.cnpq.br\/view\/-\/journal_content\/56_INSTANCE_0oED\/10157\/25314#:~:text=SET%2DB%2D%20Profissional%20com%20t%C3%ADtulo,de%20pesquisa%2C%20desenvolvimento%20ou%20inova%C3%A7%C3%A3o.\">SET-B and SET-C<\/a> fellowships are for professionals with doctorate degrees and documented experience in modeling and assessment of chemical processes or electrical energy systems.<\/li>\n<li>The fellowships in the SET-G category are for professionals with undergraduate degrees and experience compatible with the work involved in this project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fellowship amounts and term<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The periods and amounts of the fellowships are as follows; values can be verified at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/cnpq\/pt-br\/acesso-a-informacao\/bolsas-e-auxilios\/copy_of_modalidades\/tabela-de-valores-no-pais\">https:\/\/www.gov.br\/cnpq\/pt-br\/acesso-a-informacao\/bolsas-e-auxilios\/copy_of_modalidades\/tabela-de-valores-no-pais<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>SET-B<\/strong>: R$ 6,500.00 (24-month term)<\/li>\n<li><strong>SET-C<\/strong>: R$ 5,850.00 (24-month term)<\/li>\n<li><strong>SET-G<\/strong>: R$ 3,250.00 (30-month term)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to apply<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Potential candidates should send their CV (Lattes format), doctorate\/undergraduate transcript, and letter of interest (all in PDF format) via e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:carlos.driemeier@lnbr.cnpem.br\">carlos.driemeier@lnbr.cnpem.br<\/a>.
