Techniques such as light sheet fluorescence microscopy will permit 3D analysis of dynamic cell processes such as embryonic development and the replication of viruses within cells. Orion will also have equipment available for intravital microscopy, in which cells are observed in vivo, permitting real-time analysis of disease progression in biosafety environments.
