This project will be carried out at the Devices Division of the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Project title:<\/strong> \u201cElectrical and Electrochemical Devices from Graphene Derivatives: Functionalization, Interface Control, and Applications in (Bio)sensors\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">About the project<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lamellar two-dimensional materials (2DMs) are currently the focus of research efforts worldwide, for fundamental studies of their unique properties as well as to develop new technological applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project activities include micro- and nanofabrication of devices in a cleanroom environment, electrical and electrochemical characterization of the devices, functionalization of 2D materials and interfaces, and development of sensors and biosensors for healthcare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarship opportunities are part of the Young Researchers Project entitled \u201cFunctionalized 2D Materials Processed in Solution: Developing Prototypable Sensors and Biosensors\u201d (FAPESP process 2021\/06238-5).<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to apply<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The requirements for this opportunity are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a completed undergraduate degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, engineering physics, or materials engineering;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">and advanced English ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Candidates should send their Lattes CV and undergraduate transcript to <a href=\"mailto:rafael.furlan@lnnano.cnpem.br\">rafael.furlan@lnnano.cnpem.br<\/a> by November 5, 2023.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">About the scholarships<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The FAPESP scholarship for both opportunities is in the &#8220;Regular Master&#8217;s Degree&#8221; modality.
