The Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory (LNBR)<\/a>, part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM, a social organization supervised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation), in partnership with FAPESP and the Center for Carbon Research in Tropical Agriculture (CCARBON) is offering a postdoctoral fellowship to investigate the impacts of using regional factors for tier 2 N2O emissions as part of greenhouse gas emissions within the life cycle of biofuels.<\/p>\n

The selected fellow will work on the CNPEM campus and collaborate with researchers from CCARBON, a center for research, innovation, and diffusion linked to the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) and headquartered at the Luiz de Queiroz Higher Agriculture School (ESALQ\/USP) in Piracicaba (SP).<\/p>\n

The approved candidate will be contracted for 24 months and will receive monthly FAPESP funding of R$ 9,047.40 and a technical reserve equivalent to 10% of this amount. The ideal applicant will be highly motivated and productive, with experience in biofuel production, greenhouse gas emissions, and lifecycle analyses.<\/p>\n
