[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”33133″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]CNPEM will be part of the 2023 edition of National Science and Technology Week (Semana Nacional de Ci\u00eancia e Tecnologia, SNCT), a science outreach event held annually by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI). From October 16 to 20 new slots will be offered to groups from high schools and universities to visit Latin America’s only particle accelerator, Sirius. The visits will take place during mornings or afternoons, with a limit of 40 people per visit.<\/p>\n

The theme of SNCT this year will be “Basic Science for Sustainable Development,” and all units linked to MCTI will present their research at institutions throughout Brazil. Come and visit this unique scientific infrastructure that is open to researchers from all over the country to conduct studies in many knowledge areas including health, renewable energy, and new materials.<\/p>\n
