a atividade imunossupressora desenvolvida pelas chamadas &#8220;c\u00e9lulas T regulat\u00f3rias&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"42\" data-block-id=\"4\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Bajdelman explica que o c\u00e2ncer aparece a partir de c\u00e9lulas do pr\u00f3prio organismo que adquiriram uma muta\u00e7\u00e3o e que come\u00e7am a crescer indefinidamente. Por ser formado por c\u00e9lulas do organismo, o tumor consegue escapar de sinaliza\u00e7\u00f5es para o sistema imune atac\u00e1-la.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"32\" data-block-id=\"5\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Uma das estrat\u00e9gias para isso \u00e9 que os tumores secretam subst\u00e2ncias que atraem as c\u00e9lulas T regulat\u00f3rias, que funcionam como um &#8220;guardi\u00e3s&#8221; para que o sistema imunol\u00f3gico n\u00e3o ataque o pr\u00f3prio organismo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"57\" data-block-id=\"6\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">\u00c9 justamente nessa \u00e1rea que os cientistas do CNPEM conseguiram atuar. Com ajuda de uma mol\u00e9cula sint\u00e9tica, chamada apt\u00e2mero quim\u00e9rico, que carrega um c\u00f3digo gen\u00e9tico para interferir no DNA dessa c\u00e9lulas, foi poss\u00edvel impedir a express\u00e3o da prote\u00edna intracelular Foxp3.\u00a0<span class=\"highlight highlighted\">\u00c9 esse marcador que diferencia das c\u00e9lulas T regulat\u00f3ria das efetoras, que v\u00e3o combater o c\u00e2ncer<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"38\" data-block-id=\"8\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Segundo Bajgelman, a taxa de efici\u00eancia observada para inibir o Foxp3 com o uso do apt\u00e2mero foi de 60%, o que \u00e9 considerado promissor. A t\u00e9cnica poderia ser utilizada para o combate de todos os tipos de c\u00e2ncer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"raw\" data-block-weight=\"51\" data-block-id=\"9\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\">\n<blockquote class=\"content-blockquote theme-border-color-primary-before\"><p>&#8220;Imagine dois lutadores de boxe. Se voc\u00ea consegue diminuir em 30, 40% da for\u00e7a de um deles, \u00e9 suficiente para que o outro ven\u00e7a. Em termos moleculares, biol\u00f3gicos, n\u00e3o \u00e9 preciso inibir 100% para vencer. Com 60% obtivemos resultados bem interessantes com culturas de c\u00e9lulas e modelos animais&#8221;, explica o pesquisador.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"raw\" data-block-weight=\"2\" data-block-id=\"10\">\n<div class=\"content-intertitle\">\n<h2>Pr\u00f3ximos passos<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"38\" data-block-id=\"11\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">O estudo foi publicado na revista\u00a0<em>Molecular Therapy Nucleic Acids<\/em>\u00a0e o pr\u00f3ximo passo da pesquisa \u00e9 obter resultados semelhantes em ensaios com cultura de c\u00e9lulas humanas, que j\u00e1 vem sendo desenvolvidas no centro de pesquisa em Campinas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"60\" data-block-id=\"12\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;Agora vamos transpor as sequ\u00eancias que foram desenhadas para genes de camundongos e trabalhando para testes em c\u00e9lulas humanas. J\u00e1 temos alguns resultados in vitro, e estamos aperfei\u00e7oando o sistema. \u00c9 um trabalho que come\u00e7ou em 2012, e conseguimos gerar tecnologia nacional. Acredito que dentro de uns quatro anos, possamos partir para a parte de ensaios cl\u00ednicos&#8221;, projeta o pesquisador.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"raw\" data-block-weight=\"2\" data-block-id=\"13\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container\">\n<div class=\"content-intertitle\">\n<h2>Combinando esfor\u00e7os<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"42\" data-block-id=\"14\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Entre as a\u00e7\u00f5es desenvolvidas no CNPEM para o combate ao c\u00e2ncer est\u00e3o as vacinas antitumorais, que diferente dos imunizantes capazes de prevenir doen\u00e7as, s\u00e3o feitas a partir de c\u00e9lulas tumorais do pr\u00f3prio paciente geneticamente modificadas em tratamentos que j\u00e1 se mostraram promissores.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"28\" data-block-id=\"15\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">&#8220;A vacina consiste em modificar c\u00e9lulas tumorais para que produzam imunomoduladores. Estes imunomoduladores estimulam as c\u00e9lulas de defesa do organismo a identificar e eliminar o c\u00e2ncer&#8221;, explica Bajgelman.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"55\" data-block-id=\"17\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Segundo o pesquisador, utilizar a vacina combinada com a t\u00e9cnica do apt\u00e2mero quim\u00e9rico podem potencializar as terapias contra o c\u00e2ncer.
