Nacional de Pesquisa em Energias e Materiais (CNPEM), em Campinas (SP), que abriga o\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/g1.globo.com\/sp\/campinas-regiao\/noticia\/2018\/11\/14\/entenda-o-sirius-o-novo-acelerador-de-particulas-do-brasil.ghtml\">Sirius, acelerador de part\u00edculas que \u00e9 o maior investimento cient\u00edfico brasileiro<\/a>, descobriram que uma\u00a0<span class=\"highlight highlighted\">bact\u00e9ria conhecida por ser vil\u00e3 da citricultura pode ser uma aliada na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos biorrenov\u00e1veis<\/span>, substituindo mat\u00e9rias-primas que atualmente s\u00e3o obtidas de derivados de petr\u00f3leo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wall protected-content\">\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"50\" data-block-id=\"3\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">As equipes identificaram que os processos biol\u00f3gicos que bact\u00e9ria\u00a0<em>xanthomonas<\/em>, respons\u00e1vel pelo cancro c\u00edtrico, usa para enfraquecer os sistemas de defesa das plantas, s\u00e3o \u00fateis para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de biocombust\u00edveis e outras mat\u00e9rias-primas para a fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de tintas, pl\u00e1sticos, \u00e1cidos e solventes, tudo a partir do reaproveitamento de res\u00edduos agroindustriais.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"36\" data-block-id=\"4\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Isso porque o trabalho identificou uma nova classe de enzimas que a bact\u00e9ria utiliza para desconstruir a parede celular das plantas e, ap\u00f3s invadir as c\u00e9lulas, induzir a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00ednas que potencializam a infec\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"17\" data-block-id=\"5\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Na pr\u00e1tica, essas enzimas ajudariam a acessar elementos presentes na biomassa e que hoje n\u00e3o s\u00e3o aproveitados.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles\" data-block-type=\"raw\" data-block-weight=\"41\" data-block-id=\"6\">\n<blockquote class=\"content-blockquote theme-border-color-primary-before\"><p>\u201cEssas descobertas nos fornecem novas alternativas para aumentar a capacidade de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de biomassa vegetal em biorrefinarias, que s\u00e3o muito valiosas do ponto de vista biotecnol\u00f3gico&#8221;, explica Mario Murakami, coordenador da pesquisa e diretor cient\u00edfico do Laborat\u00f3rio Nacional de Biorrenov\u00e1veis (LNBR).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A descoberta dos cientistas do CNPEM, que realizaram a pesquisa em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com equipes da USP e Unicamp, foi publicada na revista cient\u00edfica Nature Communications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"51\" data-block-id=\"9\">\n<p class=\"content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\">Segundo o centro de pesquisa, o conhecimento adquirido com a bact\u00e9ria que costuma ser vil\u00e3 no campo pode permitir, em conjunto com outras plataformas microbianas j\u00e1 existentes e patenteadas pelo CNPEM, a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de biorrefinarias para obten\u00e7\u00e3o de a\u00e7\u00facares avan\u00e7ados, onde seria poss\u00edvel a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos de maior valor agregado.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" energ\u00e9tico e de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de produtos mais sustent\u00e1veis, o conhecimento sobre a forma de agir da bact\u00e9ria e suas estruturas abre possibilidade de os cientistas auxiliarem no combate \u00e0 praga.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"38\" data-block-id=\"11\">\n<p desenvolvimento de novas estrat\u00e9gias de combate \u00e0 doen\u00e7a, com desenho de potenciais inibidores para esse grupo de bact\u00e9rias t\u00e3o relevantes para a agricultura brasileira\u201d,
