Strengthening competencies in research, development and innovation (R&D&I) is directly associated with training human resources who are able to connect with each other in search of solutions to challenges affecting global and local society.<\/p>\n

The CNPEM promotes various activities related to training personnel in R&D&I activities. Its research and development programs include scholarship recipients from all levels, in partnerships with universities and graduate programs. There are also programs for immersion in the research environment for students and teachers, as well as events and training courses on specific topics.<\/p>\n

In 2022, with support from the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), the CNPEM expanded its educational activities with the opening of the Ilum School of Science. This interdisciplinary undergraduate program in science, technology, and innovation implements innovative ideas to provide a high-quality free and full-time undergraduate program immersed in the research environment at the CNPEM.<\/p>\n

Training and education activities are part of the CNPEM’s mission and are key to the progress of research and national development.<\/p>\n
