Um grupo de enzimas respons\u00e1vel pela descarboxila\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1cidos graxos em hidrocarbonetos s\u00e3o as fotodecarboxilases de \u00e1cidos graxos (FAPs). Atualmente, existem FAPs derivadas de microalgas (CvFAP), mas sua ativa\u00e7\u00e3o depende de uma estreita faixa do espectro de luz, especialmente na faixa da luz azul. Isso evidencia a import\u00e2ncia de solucionar essa limita\u00e7\u00e3o para ampliar a efici\u00eancia e aplica\u00e7\u00e3o dessas enzimas.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Processo inovador para a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1cidos graxos em hidrocarbonetos, utilizando FAPs&#8221; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Yeseva%20One%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Pesquisadores do CNPEM desenvolveram um processo inovador para a transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1cidos graxos em hidrocarbonetos, utilizando FAPs<\/strong>. As enzimas (FAPs) s\u00e3o ativadas pela luz, especialmente na faixa azul, e conduzem \u00e0 convers\u00e3o de \u00e1cidos graxos livres em alcanos e CO2. Conhecidas como enzimas fotoativas, essas prote\u00ednas s\u00e3o fundamentais para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de biocombust\u00edveis. Embora existam enzimas semelhantes derivadas de algas, o processo desenvolvido no CNPEM emprega enzimas que se destacam por sua efici\u00eancia superior, permitindo um rendimento maior em um per\u00edodo reduzido uma vez que s\u00e3o ativadas em uma maior faixa do espectro de luz. Ao reduzir a depend\u00eancia de comprimentos de ondas espec\u00edficos, exclui-se a necessidade de l\u00e2mpadas especificas para ativa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_cta
