DESCRIPTION:A 32ª edição do Programa Bolsas de Verão (PBV) do CNPEM está chegando!  \nRealizado desde 1992\, o programa tem como objetivo difundir a ciência e estimular jovens universitários da América Latina e Caribe a seguirem carreiras científicas e de desenvolvimento tecnológico. O PBV é destinado a alunos de graduação nas áreas de Ciências Exatas e da Terra\, Engenharias\, Tecnologias\, Ciências Biológicas e Saúde\, e já acolheu mais de 450 estudantes ao longo de suas edições   \nO #PBV32 receberá os estudantes a partir de 8 de janeiro de 2025. SUMMARY:Training and Capacity Building Program in BSL-3 Laboratory
DESCRIPTION:The National Research Center for Energy and Materials (CNPEM) will host the Training and Capacity Building Program in BSL-3 Laboratory from February 17 to 20\, 2025\, at the CNPEM campus in Campinas\, São Paulo. \nThe activities will take place in a training laboratory designed to simulate BSL-3 and BSL-4 (maximum biosafety) facilities. \nTargeted at researchers\, undergraduate and graduate students\, and professionals from academic and research institutions who currently work or plan to start working in BSL-3 laboratories\, the training aims to promote safe laboratory practices in these environments. It also contributes to the development of potential future users of Orion—a laboratory complex dedicated to pathogen research\, featuring Latin America’s first BSL-4 facilities\, and the world’s first such facilities connected to a synchrotron light source\, Sirius. \nRegistration period: January 13 to January 24\, 2025. \nFor more information\, visit the program’s website.
