Nuclear stress test

MODEL RELEASED. Nuclear stress test. Doctor about to inject a patient with the radioisotope technetium 99 during a stress test. The patient is exercising on a treadmill. Shortly after the injection the patient will come off of the treadmill and a gamma camera will be used to scan their heart. The distribution of the isotope in the heart tissues will be used to diagnose any heart conditions present.
